Last spring, VH1 scored high ratings with comedian Mo’Nique’s Charm School, in which chicks from Flavor of Love seasons one and two were given some etiquette lessons.
It was announced this week that VH1 has begun filming Charm School 2: From G’s to Gents, which will be hosted by Academy Award-winning actor and comedian Jamie Foxx (Hope that on the show he doesn’t look like he does in that picture over there—definitely not a good look bro).
Appearing in this season of Charm School will be some of the most outspoken guys from I Love New York seasons one and two. Confirmed contestants include season one’s Mr. Boston, Chance, Heat, and Tango, and season two’s Buddah, Wolf, Midget Mac, Trendz, and Mr. Wise.
Just like Charm School season one, the guy who shows the most improvement will win $50,000. Charm School 2: From G’s to Gents will begin airing on both VH1 and MTV this summer.

Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama, who won the South Carolina Democratic primary yesterday by a landslide, has received endorsements from Caroline Kennedy and Sen. Edward M. (commonly known as Ted) Kennedy. Ted Kennedy is expected to officially announce his endorsement tomorrow at Obama’s rally at American University in Washington, D.C.
In an opinion editorial in today’s New York Times, Caroline had the following to say:
Over the years, I’ve been deeply moved by the people who’ve told me they wished they could feel inspired and hopeful about America the way people did when my father was president. This sense is even more profound today. That is why I am supporting a presidential candidate in the Democratic primaries, Barack Obama.
In yesterday’s South Carolina primary, Obama easily defeated fellow Deomocratic hopefuls Hillary Clinton and John Edwards (who is actually from South Carolina), thanks to a large showing of black voters in the state. Of the total amount of voters in the state, 55 percent were African American, 78 percent of which voted for Obama. It is the largest percentage of black voters to ever participate in a primary in the state’s history.
Rihanna attended yesterday’s NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, France, and debuted a new ‘do. She had the paparazzi going crazy with her sexy self. The Barbados-bred singer also performed at the show. Check out her peforming “Don’t Stop The Music” after the jump.
By the way, Rihanna is one of the artists scheduled to perform at this year’s Grammy’s, which are scheduled to take place on Feb. 10th in Los Angeles.
Wow, this is real news! (it’s called sarcasm). British tabloid the Sun released a video today of singer Amy Winehouse smoking crack doing drugs supposedly just hours before going to her husband’s, Blake Fielder-Civil, court appearance in London.
We all know that Amy does drugs, so I’m not really ’shocked’ at this video. Hopefully she’ll clean up her act long enough to make an appearance to this year’s Grammy Awards, at which she has six nominations.www.3339994.ru
Actor Heath Ledger, probably best known for his Oscar-nominated performance in Brokeback Mountain, has died.
The 28-year-old Australian-born actor was found dead in his Manhattan apartment by a housekeeper. Ledger had an appointment for a massage, but when the houskeeper went to notify Ledger that the massage therapist had arrived, the housekeeper found a naked Ledger unconscious in his bed.
NYPD officials say that sleeping pills were found near the body, but it is not clear whether or not the death was accidental or a suicide. An autopsy will be performed tomorrow.
Ledger relocated to Los Angeles from Australia at the age of 19 and landed his first role starring opposite Julia Stiles in 10 Things I Hate About You. He had roles in films such as Brokeback Mountain, A Knight’s Tale, Monster’s Ball, and The Lords of Dogtown. He recently completed filming his role as the Joker in The Dark Kinght, a sequal to the 2005 film Batman Begins.
Ledger was previously engaged to Michelle Williams, whom he met while filming Brokeback Mountain. The couple had a child together in 2005. The two called it quits in late 2007.

It has been confirmed that Usher’s father, Usher Raymond III, died Friday in an Atlanta area hospital. A cause of death has not been released.
We’re told that Usher, his wife Tameka Foster, and his mother Jonetta Patton were all at his father’s side at the time of his death.
Usher’s father split with Jonetta when Usher was only a baby. He has battled with cocaine abuse and has spent some time in prison for shoplifting in Chattanooga, Tennesssee.
Despite his father’s behavior, Usher always tried to maintain a strong relationship with his father.

Estimates released early Sunday show that the Paramount Pictures film Cloverfield will open atop the weekend box office, pulling in $41 million, a record opening for a film release in January.
Through a handheld camera of a partygoer, the film gives a first-hand view of a creature ripping trough the streets of New York City.
Debuting in second place this weekend is 27 Dresses. The romantic comedy starring Katherine Heigl made just over $22 million.
Mad Money, another new release which stars Queen Latifah, Katie Holmes, and Diane Keaton, debuted at number 7, only pulling in $7.7 million.
A rep for rapper/collaborator Nate Dogg, who suffered a mild stroke over the holidays, says his chances for a full recovery are good.
The stroke left the rapper paralyzed on the left side of his body; however, the stroke did not cause brain damage and did not affect his speech.
Early rumors suggested that Nate Dogg had suffered from a heart attack and was recovering at home. His rep says those rumors are false, and slammed the release of a 911 tape where Nate Dogg’s girlfriend can be heard phoning the police. Nate’s rep told MTV News:
I’m not sure what people are trying to glean from that tape. The diagnosis is what it is, and the prognosis is what it is: He had a stroke. The media wants to create something, but I’m not sure what the point is. If you had an emergency and someone was in your presence, they would call 911.
We definitely wish Nate Dogg a speedy recovery.
Timbaland debuted the video today for “Scream,” the fifth single off his hit album Shock Value, which features Keri Hilson and Nicole Scherzinger.
The concept of the video is different, but I really dig it. The ladies are definitely looking lovely and the ski masks are hot! The song will be a top ten hit really soon.

VH1 reality show queen Tiffany Pollard, known to fans as New York, strongly denies that she is the female featured in a sex tape that leaked to the Internet earlier this week.
The person who leaked the tape claimed that it was filmed while New York was in Miami to celebrate the New Year with her fiance and I Love New York season 2 winner George “Tailor Made” Weisgerber.
New York told the New York Post that the person in the video is “absolutely not” her. She says:
Do I strike you as the kind of woman who would have a sex tape floating around out there and not be standing by that tape? have a trash-talking potty mouth, I do what I want to do, that’s who I am as a person. If I had a sex tape, I’d say when I did it and who I did it with.
I’m sure if it were really New York in the video, she would have cashed in on it by now. Trust me, New York is a business woman.
An Australian sports commentator felt the need to point out how much he loved Venus Williams‘ derriere during a match at the 2008 Australian Open earlier this week.
A dumbfounded female co-commenator was quick to change the subject, plugging Venus’ clothing line. Watch the video above to hear the comment and the fans’ reactions.
