Alexis Cohen, a popular contest from FOX’s American Idol, was killed Saturday after she was struck by a vehicle in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

Cohen was pronounced dead at 6:35 a.m. EST, after being found unconscious by the side of the road two hours prior. A preliminary autopsy report states that she died of injuries to her head, chest, and abdominal areas.

Cohen auditioned in seasons 7 and 8, and although she did not make it to the Hollywood round of the show, she became popular after she went on a rant about Simon Cowell after the judges rejected her.

That’s sad. I remember her first audition like it was yesterday. She had me rolling! Rest in peace, Alexis

I understand American Idol winner Lee has just signed up to RCA records. I can’t wait to listen to his upcoming album.

I believe Donald Trump would be a much better American Idol judge compared with Harry Connick Jr. – Trump is not at all afraid to voice what he thinks and can be as outspoken as Simon Cowell.
