Serena Williams’s Tampax commercial: ‘There’s blood’

Serena Williams

Despite Serena Williams‘s little incident at the U.S. Open a few weeks ago (you know, when she went slap off on a line judge), the endorsement deals for the tennis superstar keep on pouring in (very poor choice of words for this topic).

She has signed on to appear in ads for Tampax, and her first commercial is causing just a drop little bit of controversy.

In the ad, it’s Serena vs. Mother Nature, and it’s Mother Nature’s comments that have people giving the side eye. Her quote: “Bad blood? Well there is plenty of blood, but none of it’s bad.” Oh… my… God.

What do you think? Does that line go too far?
