All the recent talk about hair weaves and extensions on TV has been unbeweaveable. Just a few weeks after Tyra had her big ‘real hair’ season premiere episode, Chris Rock hit up “Oprah”yesterday to discuss his new documentary Good Hair, which talks about why black women are so concerned about their hair.

Solange also stopped by to discuss the haircut she got earlier this year, saying that it was liberating and she was tired of spending the $40,000 to $50,000 a year she spent on weaves. People are still throwing so much shade at Solange about that haircut, but I think it looks good on her and I’m proud of her for breaking free and going against the norm. But I wonder if she can donate that $50K she’s saving to me? LOL! Watch a segment from the episode above.
