Erykah Badu’s simple, yet thought-provoking video for “Window Seat” has created a pretty damn big amount of controversy.
The singer filmed the video, in which she strips completely naked, in Dealey Plaza in Downtown Dallas — where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated — which was packed with tourists and kids. But in the video above, she tells Dallas’s WFAA-TV that she has “no regrets” about the video:
I was petrified, period! The whole thing was frightening — you know, not being in love with my body. And as I started to walk, I confronted a lot of fears personally and I hoped that it would encourage others to do the same thing in their own way.
She and her videographer didn’t have a permit, and could have been arrested for that and for indecent exposure.
Aside from all that drama, the video is amazing! It’s supposed to encourage self-love and inspire you to be an individual and not live your life by how society says you’re supposed to be.
If you haven’t had a chance to see the video, check it out after the jump.

Just a month after getting dropped from Sony/Epic Records after her singles “Louboutins” and “Fresh Out The Oven” flopped to the high heavens, Jennifer Lopez has apparently inked a new deal with Def Jam Recordings.
Rumor is that Def Jam will release the album she was working on, titled “Love?”, which would be her 7th studio album.
Best of luck to J.Lo — hopefully this time she can get a hit!

Former NBA baller Antoine Walker once signed a $71 million dollar contract with the Boston Celtics, and earned over $100 million during his 12-year NBA career. But after gambling debts, millions in real estate purchases, poor investments, child support, and supporting a large entourage, he is now basically left with nothing.
Things are so bad that Antoine Walker is currently playing in Puerto Rico’s basketball league, where he can make $150,000 this year — only if his team, the Guaynabo Mets, claims the championship.
That’s a huge difference from the $14.1 million per year he once made. Check out the video above.

According to social media blog Mashable, Lady Gaga is the first artist to ever have one billion video views online.
The total amount of views for only her “Just Dance”, “Poker Face” and “Bad Romance” videos passes the one billion mark. The only other artist close behind her is Soulja Boy, who has a total of 860 million video views.
Lady Gaga accounts for 25% of all video views on VEVO, the new video site that’s a partnership with YouTube and Universal Music Group.
Love her, hate her, hate to love her, love to hate her… Whatever your relationship is with Lady Gaga, one thing is for sure: you definitely know who the hell she is.
Rumors have been popping off for the past few weeks that Kim Zolciak from “Real Housewives of Atlanta” may have gone from dating Big Papa to Big Mama.
The reality star recently sat down with Life & Style magazine and confirmed she is indeed in a relationship with a female DJ by the name of Tracy Young. *gasps* Here are some excerpts:
On beginning the relationship:
There were sparks, but [physically] it was a gradual situation. Tracy made the first move. Our first kiss was passionate and exciting.
On dismissing the rumors:
I’ve never denied anything. I don’t lie. I’m not embarrassed by anything I’ve ever done in my life. But I wasn’t ready to discuss it when the story broke. I hadn’t even had the chance to talk to my family about it. It was so unfair.
On being a bisexual parent:
I’m among the millions of parents who have been in a gay or lesbian relationship. It hasn’t been an easy road lately, but I feel there are no mistakes in my life. Everything happens for a reason. To have the opportunity to speak for myself and to have people understand what I’m going through is really special. I myself was confused and scared at first. Being able to speak from my heart and get this all out, it’s a huge relief for me.
So let me get this straight: she has kids, she smokes all the time, she was dating a married (but separated) man, proudly wears wigs, and now dates a woman!? Yes! This woman was MADE for reality television!!
MTV has announced that after the upcoming season of “The Hills” airs, the show is donezo. Womp womp. From MTV News:
Yes, the forthcoming season will be the show’s last. “I think we’ve told the story of struggle and of finding yourself in L.A.,” creator Adam DiVello told EW. “A lot of these kids have found themselves and have certainly embarked on different careers and different paths.”
Indeed, many of the events of the past few months find their way into the season, including Heidi Montag’s plastic surgery, the results of which she shows to her mother in the first episode. “We tell the whole story,” DiVello said. “We pick right up where Heidi goes and sees her parents. And our cameras are there that minute the mother opens the door and sees her daughter for the first time.” Executive producer Liz Gateley added, “It’s a really touching but heartbreaking scene to watch.”
Also in the show’s final 12 episodes, fans will see Audrina Patridge dating singer Ryan Cabrera and Kristin Cavallari contending with rumors of drug abuse. “When Kristin was in Miami for the Super Bowl, there was definitely some late nights for her and some speculation that she might be partying a little too hard,” Gateley said. “So we’re definitely going to cover that part of Kristin. We’re pretty much covering everything you’ve read [about in the tabloids].”
So we all know this season will be full of new faces — and I’m just talking about Heidi Montag.
The final season of “The Hills” begins on April 27 at 10 p.m. on MTV.

Check out this quick little teaser for “Acapella,” the first post child support drama single and video from Kelis. Looks intense!
I can already feel more Lady Gaga comparisons coming in for Kelis with this video. I guess people are not aware that pushing the envelope with outrageous costumes and visuals was something that Kelis has being doing since 2000.

Pop star and apparent co-owner of the world Justin Bieber got a special gift for his 16th birthday — Usher gave him a brand new Range Rover.
In an interview on the UK television show “Live From Studio 5,” Young Bieber said that “Usher helped buy me a car. He bought me a Range Rover. I can drive.” This was after he had two parties, one in Los Angeles and another in his hometown of Toronto.
I think all I got on my 16th birthday was two free bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits from McDonald’s… womp womp.
CheetahTiger Woods spoke with ESPN yesterday in his interview since that small car crash outside his Florida home turned into a huge sex scandal. Here are some notable quotables from the interview:
I owe a lot of people an apology. I hurt a lot of people. Not just my wife. My friends, my colleagues, the public, kids who looked up to me. There were a lot of people that thought I was a different person and my actions were not according to that. That’s why I had to apologize. I was so sorry for what I had done.
I was living a life of a lie. I really was. And I was doing a lot of things, like I said, that hurt a lot of people. And stripping away denial and rationalization you start coming to the truth of who you really are and that can be very ugly. But then again, when you face it and you start conquering it and you start living up to it. The strength that I feel now, I’ve never felt that type of strength.
On his wife and mother’s reactions:
I hurt them the most. Those are the two people in my life who I’m closest to and to say the things that I’ve done, truthfully to them, is … honestly … was … very painful.
The overly-dramatic ESPN reporter actually asks Tiger the question a lot of people, like me, have been wondering all along: why the hell did you get married in the first place? Watch the interview above to see how he answers that question.
