Oh Lawd here we go again. 50 Cent has started a petition via Twitter against Diddy, saying that Diddy uses the name and image of B.I.G. for commercial ($$$) gain.

All the drama starting when during the BET Awards post show, Diddy kinda called Fiddy a “hatin’ ass crab.”

Fiddy responded by saying he has some new explicit pix of Cassie and said this about Diddy and his Dirty Money crew:

You know how an ugly b*tch always got like pretty friends. He wanna be the hot b*tch in the group. He wanna get all the attention. He wanna make sure all the n**gas holla at him

Tyler Perry is speaking out about all the controversy surrounding the episode of the Adult Swim cartoon Boondocks titled “Pause,” which heavily criticized him:

Just like the Spike Lee situation, I feel that no response is the best response. I’m just gonna leave it at that. … But I will tell you this … there is absolutely no truth to the rumor that I’m suing ‘The Boondocks.’ Those are all lies. I’m not suing anybody over that. And I haven’t fired anyone because of that show, either. I don’t know where all that came from.

I don’t normally watch the Boondocks, but I did catch this episode and I gotta say they know they slayed the HELL out of Tyler Perry! *struggles not to laugh*

Lil Kim says she’s ‘still relevant’

Lil Kim wants us all to know that she is “more relevant” than new artists in the industry. Nicki Minaj is probably so tired of hearing this ish. Here’s what Kim had to say:

I’m constantly growing, my album came out in ’97 but I started doing music in the early ’90s. One reason that I’m still here and I’m still relevant to this day – probably even more relevant than a lot of new people who come into the industry – is because I know how to reinvent myself, I know how to change with the times. I think that, no matter who you are these days – you could be young, you could be old, you could be new, you could be an artist that’s been in the industry for a minute – I think it’s all about a hot record these days, it’s different. I think that’s the only difference I could point out – you know, you could have a hot song back in the day but it may not break through. But now if you have a hot song – it doesn’t have to have a lot of thought behind it, it doesn’t have to be a deep record, you don’t even have to be very talented as long as you come up with something that’s catchy and, you know, something that is now.

This is obviously a response to a recent Drake interview, in which he suggested that Lil Kim is jealous of Nicki Minaj’s success.

Lil Kim to Diddy: ‘You should be ashamed of yourself…’

In case you forgot, Lil Kim is not happy with Nicki Minaj, and now the Queen Bee is going in on Diddy.

In an interview with Thisis50.com, Kim says that Diddy should “be ashamed” of himself for managing and standing by Nicki Minaj. She makes it pretty clear that she is not cool with Diddy at all anymore, and says that when she was in prison, he didn’t write or try to contact her and he “never put 10 f**king dollars or a f**king quarter in my commissary” O_o

She also goes in about her lack of involvement with the Notorious movie and takes a little shot at Biggie‘s mother.

I like how Kim is being honest and vocal about all this instead of letting speculation and rumors twist the truth around. I can’t wait to hear how Diddy responds to this. He couldn’t even put a quarter in her commissary though? Diddy, why you trippin’?

Lil Kim vs. Nicki Minaj: ‘I’mma bite you’

Lil Kim wants you to know that she is not happy. The alleged beef between her and Nicki Minaj went a new level after Lil Kim went in on her during a recent performance at a club in Detroit. Kim put on a blond wig and said this to the crowd:

Y’all know where this came from. I love when people copy me… that’s a compliment. But when you bust shots at me and throw pebbles at me like as if I don’t even exist and you don’t see me standing here, I’mma bite you. I’mma bite you.

I don’t go off for no f**king reason, aight? If I go off, it’s a reason behind it. I spread love and I love my ladies. And I love for us to get along in the game. But you not gonna come in this game and s**t on me and take my s**t and run with the s**t. And I’m gonna tell these motherf**kers. I’m ready cause I hope they ready.

Lawd… Meanwhile, Trina commented on the whole situation in an interview with MTV News: “That’s crazy. I really don’t get it. I don’t see where all this is coming from. We all respect Kim. She opened the doors for us females. It’s all good — everybody’s eating, what’s the issue? This makes us all look bad. There’s barely any female artists as is — we don’t need this!”

Ciara to Lloyd: I’m no Hollywood b!#ch

During an interview with Sirius XM Satellite Radio’s “The Morning After” show in New York, Ciara responded to comments fellow ATL singer Lloyd made a few months ago, calling her a “Hollywood bitch.” Ciara set the record straight:

I find it very interesting how because you live in LA, you’re Hollywood. That’s what it seems to be from my perspective. I am there to work but at the same time, I am in the world of entertainment and it is one of those places that is very helpful for your business…

…people judge you by who they see you taking photos with or who they see you with. Just because I hang out with someone that appears to be very different from me, doesn’t mean I’m changing who I am. Am I wrong as an African American for hanging with a person that’s Caucasian? That doesn’t make sense to me and that’s what I interpret it as.

I’m a southern girl in LA. I’m an Atlien at heart. It doesn’t mean I’m Hollywood because I live there. I’ll never change who I am internally. Am I wrong for going to do Givenchy? Am I wrong for traveling? I come from Decatur and where I’ve been traveling is a BIG DEAL for my life and where I came from and what we had.

I also thought Ciara was going Hollywood for a minute there until she hit us with the “Ride” video. She proved she’s still the same old CiCi at heart. Since she’s been here in Los Angeles, she’s been landing major endorsement deals and fashion spreads like it’s nothing — you really can’t hate on that.

Drama! Tyler Perry vs. Spike Lee

Looks like it’s not all peace and love between two of the most prominent black film directors.

CBS’s “60 Minutes” did a profile on Tyler Perry over the weekend and brought up all the criticism that Tyler has faced from the black community for creating stereotypical characters like Madea and Mr. Brown.

When asked about his thoughts on Spike Lee calling his work “buffoonery and coonery,” Tyler said that it “pisses him off” and that he uses such characters only to draw people in so he can deliver powerful, spiritual messages.

Not sure whose side to take, because I see where both of them are coming from. Watch the video and judge for yourself.
