You better check your freezer! Today General Mills announced a recall of 5 million Totino’s and Jeno’s brand frozen pizzas because of a possible E. Coli contamination. In July, 21 E. Coli illnesses were investigated and found to have been caused by pepporoni in Totino’s and Jeno’s brand pizzas. Eight of the 21 persons have been hospitalized, and four have reported kidney failure. If you have any of the following pizzas in your freezer, you better get rid of them now! (Their SKUs are listed on the left):

In case you haven’t heard, Da Brat was arrested earlier this morning in Atlanta after getting into an altercation with a waitress. Yahoo! News has the scoop:

Yolanda “LaLa” Brown, best known for being featured in Lyfe Jenning’s hit single “S.E.X.”, was found dead along with her boyfriend in a Milwaukee, Wisconsin, studio Friday. From TMJ4:

A familiar voice to Milwaukee R & B fans has been silenced. Twenty-one year old Yolanda “La La” Brown and her producer, 22-year-old JeTannue Clayborn, were found dead in their recording studio Friday night.

Milwaukee police say both were found in the Loud Enuff Productionz studio at 55th and Lisbon. Both had gunshot wounds and had been dead at least a day before being discovered. They were reportedly dating.

JeTannue’s mother, Dina Chambers, describes him as energetic, with an eye toward making music his career. “He loved music. He loved people. He was very kind. They called him “Koo Laid” because every time you saw him, he was smiling.”

Autopsies were scheduled on both Clayborn and Brown, but the results have not been released

This is so sad.. I feel so sorry for their kids (She had a daughter; he had a son). My deepest condolences to the families of LaLa and JeTannue.

When Britney Spears and lil’ sis Jamie Lynn Spears stepped out to grab a bite to eat at an L.A. restaurant Sunday, they were met by hundreds of paparazzos, of course, but also a crazy woman who bravely yelled to Britney “No one wants you in this neighborhood… you’re making this neighborhood unsafe.” And to that, Jamie Lynn got right in her face and said “Well then move the f**k out!” That’s what I’m talkin about! Bad Boy recording artist Cassie and the fine, sexy, wifey material actress Lauren London, are the faces for Diddy’s new Sean John women’s line, set to hit stores this holiday season. Asia, who is the newest member of The Pussycat Dolls (thanks to the CW Network’s ‘Search for the Next Doll’), will also be featured in ads for the new line. Sean John’s ladies line is a contemporary, urban juniors collection and will feature velour track suits and graphic tees among other fashions. Word is that prices will be pretty reasonable. So all the ladies, be checkin for the new Sean John women’s line this holiday season at the Sean John store on 5th Ave. in NYC, or in Macy’s, Dillard’s and other retailers nationwide.

Melanie Brown (aka Scary Spice) along with her lawyer Gloria Allred held a press conference today announcing that they were taking legal actions against Melanie’s baby daddy, non other than Eddie Murphy. Check out this excerpt from PEOPLE:

After 4 years, the bobblehead Star Jones-Reynolds has finally admitted that gastric bypass aided in her dramatic weight loss. Jones, who had the surgery in August 2003, said keeping the surgery a secret made her a ‘hypocrite.’ Star admits to the surgery in the September issue of Glamour magazine, due on newsstands August 7th.

Maybe if she’d admitted to this a couple of years ago, she’d still have her job on The View. One of the main reasons she was fired released from the show is because viewers didn’t like her because they knew she was lying. At least she finally admitted though.

Since I’ve been busy the past few weeks, I wasn’t able to post a lot of things and this was one… While I was out, Deelishis’ (of Flavor of Love fame) new video for ‘Rumpshaker’ debuted online. And the song title is appropriate, cus this chick got one of the biggest booty’s I’ve ever seen. But, I really don’t see this one making it on TV… it would be perfect for BET’s Uncut if it were still around… What do you think?

Mounting backlash against an upcoming BET series accused of trafficking in racial stereotypes has prompted at least two advertisers to pull out of the premiere episode on the Viacom Inc.-owned channel.

Sources said Monday that such companies as State Farm Insurance Cos. and the Home Depot requested that their advertisements be yanked from the new comedy series “Hot Ghetto Mess” as well as from a Web page on BET.com touting the program.

The corporate retreat appeared to be in response to a growing chorus of critics who have been calling for an advertiser boycott of the series, which is scheduled to premiere at 10:30 p.m. July 25
