After weeks of anticipation, Lady Gaga’s video for “Telephone” featuring Beyonce has finally leaked. The nearly 10-minute long video features a cameo from Tyrese.
Say what you want about Gaga, but who else is making mini-movie videos these days? I have an answer: no one. We have not seen this type of artist since the days of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Lady Gaga is clearly reaching icon status.
BTW, did Bee and Gaga really escape in a car called The Pussy Wagon? Can they even show that on TV? LOL
Check out Rihanna’s performance of “Rude Boy” at the 2010 Echo Awards, which took place Thursday in Berlin.
I hope those were supposed to be tears that that robot squirted all over her at the end of the performance… nasty, nasty.
In other Rihanna news, “Rude Boy” has entered the top 10 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 at number 8, becoming the singer’s 14th Billboard top 10 hit. Congrats Ri Ri!

Here is the video for Timbaland’s single “Carry Out” featuring Justin Timberlake, which has been performing very well on digital and radio charts since January. I love the song, but the lyrics in the chorus confuse me:
Take my order ’cause ya body’s like a carry out
So is comparing a woman’s body to a big paper sack with grease spots on it a compliment these days?
The highly-anticipated “We Are The World 25 for Haiti” remake debuted last night during the Vancouver Olympics opening ceremonies, complete with rap, creole, and autotune.
While I can’t criticize all these artists for coming together for such a great cause (even though many of them were CLEARLY there just for camera time), the whole thing was a huge mess. It was very lackluster, especially compared to the original. After I watched, I was basically looking at the screen like this:
Yes, a complete and utter blank stare. But there were some great moments — Jennifer Hudson, the lady from Sugarland (she’s an AMAZING singer!), P!nk, and Mary J. Blige all sounded great. I also loved when Michael Jackson and Janet sang together.
The moments that made me go WTF!? included Lil Wayne’s verse — it just came out of nowhere — Wyclef’s Creole shouting match, and don’t get me started on the rapping from various artists at the end… O_O
Like I said at the beginning, bravo to these artists for coming together for an important cause. I hope they are able to raise a lot of money to help the people of Haiti.

British singer Alexandra Burke, winner of the super popular UK show “X-Factor”, has a new video. “Broken Heels” is the new single from her latest album. The video is complete with hot girls doing impossible leg stretches in sexified football uniforms.
Alexandra is all the rage in the UK — if I’m not mistaken, her single “Hallelujah”, released following her X-Factor win, is one of the best-selling songs in European history. Also, her previous single “Bad Boys” went straight to the top of the UK iTunes charts upon its release. But for some reason, that same interest is not here in America. Interesting.
I guess British pop stars are just like soccer. The rest of the world loves it, but America is clearly not diggin’ it.

Here is the video for Timbaland’s new single “Say Something” featuring Drake off the new Shock Value II album — which is now in stores and online (am I the only one who didn’t know this was already out?)
I’ve definitely been listening to the song all the time since it leaked a couple of months ago. The first leaked version featured Drake only, and a lot of people jumped off the bandwagon for this track with a quickness when the final, mastered leaked featuring Timbaland’s verse. But I don’t think his verse is bad at all, and this is one of my favorite singles for this half of the year.
By the way, is it me or did Timbaland put a lot of that weight back on? And does Drake’s dancing make him look more Canadian? LOL.
It’s amazing how Drake has yet to put out something that I didn’t like. I’m so proud of that dude!

If you’re like me, you watched the Beyonce “I am… Yours” Thanksgiving special and you loved it.
One of my favorite bloggers, Rich Juzwiak from FourFour, posted this hilarious look at the most ridiculous moments from the DVD version of the “I am… Yours” tour.
Take a look, and have a laugh. And you have to admit, even Beyonce and her stans would find this funny.

Earlier this week Alicia Keys debuted her video for “Sleeping With A Broken Heart,” the second single from her upcoming album The Element of Freedom, which comes out on December 15th.
I told you how much I loved the single when I posted the it here on the blog last month, but this video makes me love it even more. The song is classic Alicia Keys; it’s simple, yet epic, and it’s so classy — all of these attributes are well-reflected in the music video, directed by Syndrome.
Catch the video above if you haven’t seen it yet, and you can watch a video of Alicia performing this single on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” after the jump.

Here is the highly anticipated video for the “Video Phone” extended remix by Beyonce featuring Lady Gaga.
It’s amazing how this out-of-nowhere collaboration was able to build up so much anticipation that you almost forget how lackluster the song is compared to other Beyonce hits.
The video is very visually excellent; Beyonce is hot in all the different styles, and she’s a lot more sexual than she usually is in her videos. No complaints from me about that.
Lady Gaga said in an earlier interview that she was paying tribute to Beyonce in this video, but I didn’t realize that meant that she would leave her personality at home. Although she killed the choreography scene with Bee, without the costumes, the out-there personality and great performance art, I don’t know who she is.

Lady Gaga premiered the video for her single “Bad Romance” earlier today, and it is…. INCREDIBLE!!!
I mean, it is Lady Gaga of course, so I was expecting a great video for this song, but I had no idea it would be that great! I don’t even know where to begin with this, but I will say that I officially consider her an icon.

Here’s a new track from Mariah Carey. It’s the remix of her single “Inseperable” and features Trey Songz. I LOVE the idea of these two collaborating (two of the best voices in the game!), but this one is not the business. It’s not that it’s bad — it’s just that it’s so… average.
Sorry Mariah and Trey, yall have great voices, but this song almost put me to sleep.
In other Mariah news, she stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday to not promote her struggling album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. But she did talk about her role in the upcoming flick “Precious”, which everyone says is incredible!! Watch her Ellen interview after the jump.

Here’s a new video from Wisin y Yandel for their single “Imaginate” featuring T-Pain. The video features a cameo from Wilmer Valderrama. What do you think… Que pienses??
By the way, shout out to all the readers in Latin America! Que tal amigos!?
