Jamie Foxx at an event this week.

Last spring, VH1 scored high ratings with comedian Mo’Nique’s Charm School, in which chicks from Flavor of Love seasons one and two were given some etiquette lessons.

It was announced this week that VH1 has begun filming Charm School 2: From G’s to Gents, which will be hosted by Academy Award-winning actor and comedian Jamie Foxx (Hope that on the show he doesn’t look like he does in that picture over there—definitely not a good look bro).

Appearing in this season of Charm School will be some of the most outspoken guys from I Love New York seasons one and two. Confirmed contestants include season one’s Mr. Boston, Chance, Heat, and Tango, and season two’s Buddah, Wolf, Midget Mac, Trendz, and Mr. Wise.

Just like Charm School season one, the guy who shows the most improvement will win $50,000. Charm School 2: From G’s to Gents will begin airing on both VH1 and MTV this summer.

In other VH1 Celebreality news, Flavor of Love 3 premieres on VH1 Monday, Feb. 11th, at 8 p.m. central! Did I mention that this season of Flavor of Love features twins? Interesting. LARRY KING SPEAKS ABOUT DR. ADAMS’ WALK OFF

November 22, 2007 | Category:TV NEWS | Author: Josh Cox

“It was as crazy a night as you can imagine,” CNN host Larry King said of a scheduled Tuesday night interview with Dr. Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon who operated on Kanye West’s mother Dr. Donda West shortly before her death.

Dr. Adams showed up late to the interview, only to sit with Larry King briefly to announce that he would not do the interview. He then removed his earpiece and walked off the set.

In an interview Wednesday with CNN in New York, Larry King spoke out about the interview-gone-wrong, saying that what happened with Dr. Adams was a first:

I have seen it all now. I was thinking, ‘This isn’t happening … I see it, but I don’t believe it.’ I have had fires in the studio. I have had people fight. I have had people hit each other on the set … punch each other, but this was a first.

Jan Adams told producers that he had received a letter from the West family requesting that he not go on the air, and that out of respect for the family he would not do the interview.

Dr. Donda West was laid to rest Tuesday in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

KEYSHIA COLE ON TYRA

November 1, 2007 | Category:TV NEWS | Author: Josh Cox

So I missed this one. Keyshia Cole was a guest on The Tyra Banks Show last week. She opened up about everything from past relationships to her tough childhood. She is honestly like the realest person in the industry, and I really dig this lady. Check out part two of the interview and a performance of “Shoulda Let You Go” featuring Amina after the jump.

NO MORE REALITY ‘CHECKS’ FOR THESE LADIES…

July 31, 2007 | Category:TV NEWS | Author: Josh Cox

E! has become the second network to cancel the reality series The Simple Life, which stars Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. E! announced Monday that they will not pick up the series next season. The show originally aired on FOX and was picked up by E! last year after FOX pulled the plug on the series. E! blamed ‘overexposure’ for the shows cancellation…

We felt like the real life drama of their lives overshadowed anything happening on the show. Viewers would see Paris all day long on the news about her going to jail, so they didn’t care about seeing her camping with kids. It just was too played out.

And by the way, I think I may be coming back to updating very soon. I had given up, but seeing how the numbers keep going up and up during my hiatus, I realized that I should keep Tha Doghouse on and crackin. Look for regular updates to return in mid-June, but it will be slightly different from what you’re used to. You’ll see.
