Usher gives Justin Bieber a Range Rover

Pop star and apparent co-owner of the world Justin Bieber got a special gift for his 16th birthday — Usher gave him a brand new Range Rover.

In an interview on the UK television show “Live From Studio 5,” Young Bieber said that “Usher helped buy me a car. He bought me a Range Rover. I can drive.” This was after he had two parties, one in Los Angeles and another in his hometown of Toronto.

I think all I got on my 16th birthday was two free bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits from McDonald’s… womp womp.

Tiger says he was ‘living a life of a lie’

~~Cheetah~~ Tiger Woods spoke with ESPN yesterday in his interview since that small car crash outside his Florida home turned into a huge sex scandal. Here are some notable quotables from the interview:

I owe a lot of people an apology. I hurt a lot of people. Not just my wife. My friends, my colleagues, the public, kids who looked up to me. There were a lot of people that thought I was a different person and my actions were not according to that. That’s why I had to apologize. I was so sorry for what I had done.

I was living a life of a lie. I really was. And I was doing a lot of things, like I said, that hurt a lot of people. And stripping away denial and rationalization you start coming to the truth of who you really are and that can be very ugly. But then again, when you face it and you start conquering it and you start living up to it. The strength that I feel now, I’ve never felt that type of strength.

On his wife and mother’s reactions:
I hurt them the most. Those are the two people in my life who I’m closest to and to say the things that I’ve done, truthfully to them, is … honestly … was … very painful.

After weeks of anticipation, Lady Gaga’s video for “Telephone” featuring Beyonce has finally leaked. The nearly 10-minute long video features a cameo from Tyrese.

Say what you want about Gaga, but who else is making mini-movie videos these days? I have an answer: no one. We have not seen this type of artist since the days of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Lady Gaga is clearly reaching icon status.

BTW, did Bee and Gaga really escape in a car called The Pussy Wagon? Can they even show that on TV? LOL

Chris Brown’s desperate plea for help…

Chris Brown says that a lot of radio stations are refusing to play his records, so he took to his SayNow page to beg his fans to request his singles. Life after being convicted for assault is tough. Here’s what he had to say:

I ain’t never really did this but right now I need all of my fans help. A lot of radio stations aren’t playing my records. They are not being that supportive and I wouldn’t expect them to. It’s on the fans and what you guys do in your power to bring me back. That’s all I need is you guys and nothing else will do that except for the fans.

I don’t know what else to say. It’s nothing else that I can do. I’m doing everything that I need to do. I’m doing me as a person and I’m a better guy.

It’s on y’all. My singing and my music I do it for you guys and everything else but it won’t be possible if I’m not relevant on the radio and it wouldn’t be possible for me to be an artist if I don’t have the support. I can’t be an underground mixtape artist. That’s where we are. I just want all my fans to help me. I love y’all. Peace

Poor guy… I actually feel really bad for him. Yes, he made a HUGE mistake in beating down Rihanna, but are we just supposed to stay mad and wish him failure forever? That’s not how you help people get better.

NeNe Leakes speaks about son’s arrest

NeNe Leakes from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is speaking out about her son’s recent arrest over drug charges.

One of NeNe’s two sons, Bryson Bryant, was arrested and sent to the Gwinnett County, Georgia Detention Center on March 7 with charges of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and failure to appear in court.

Although she made a few comments about the arrest on Twitter, NeNe released this official statement:

Like any parent, I am disappointed with the actions and arrest of my son, Bryson. Certainly, my husband and I will deal with this family issue in a private manner. My son is not the first young adult to experiment with marijuana, and he certainly won’t be the last. Still, as parents, this is a chance for us to have an open dialogue with him about the dangers of any substance abuse. I realize as a parent that my job is never done. And as I’ve tweeted, tough love was in order. Still, I ask that you respect our privacy during this trying time.

From watching “Real Housewives,” it seems like Bryson is a hot mess. But judging by the way NeNe acts on the show, I know that as soon as he is released she will most definitely put him in his place.

Check out Rihanna’s performance of “Rude Boy” at the 2010 Echo Awards, which took place Thursday in Berlin.

I hope those were supposed to be tears that that robot squirted all over her at the end of the performance… nasty, nasty.

In other Rihanna news, “Rude Boy” has entered the top 10 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 at number 8, becoming the singer’s 14th Billboard top 10 hit. Congrats Ri Ri!

This 911 call might make you angry

An 8-year-old Detroit girl tried calling 911 for help after both her mother and father were shot. Her father was apparently killed instantly, but she was hoping to get emergency officials to save her mother who was dying from her gunshot wounds.

She tried her best to explain her location and what happened, but the 911 operator was super rude to the child from the get go and eventually hung up on the girl. Her mother died. Listen to the ridiculousness above.

I don’t care how stressful being a 911 operator is, this woman had no right to treat this young girl the way she did. For someone her age, that girl did a great job of explaining what was going on. In a city as large and with as much crime as Detroit, I’m sure the 911 dispatchers have software that can pinpoint the location from the call.

I cannot get over her talking to this child like she is a grown woman. This woman needs to be fired immediately.

Lil Mama crashes Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ VMA performance

Looks like Jay-Z does not play when it comes to crashers after that whole Lil Mama incident last fall.

During a recent performance in Washington, D.C., a fan jumped on stage and acted like he was a part of the show. But Jay’s security got him off the stage ASAP; people at the concert say security literally threw him off the stage and he hit the ground.

Now if only this security guard was there when Lil Mama crashed the stage… just kidding. Watch it all go down in the clip below.

Mo’Nique talks open marriage, hairy legs

In an interview for Barbara Walters‘ upcoming Oscar special, comedian turned Oscar-nominated actress Mo’Nique discussed her open relationship with husband Sidney Hicks:

Let me say this: I have not had sex outside my marriage with Sidney. Could Sid have sex outside of his marriage with me? Yes. That’s not a deal-breaker. That’s not something that would make us say, ‘Pack your things and let’s end the marriage. What if it’s 20 times? So what? We’ve been best friends for over 25 years, and we truly know who we are. Oftentimes, people get into marriages and they don’t know who they’re laying next to. I’m very comfortable and secure with my husband.

A lot of Hollywood couples — the ones who manage to stay together — are rumored to have this same type of “open” marriage. Very interesting. Mo’Nique also talks about her hairy ass legs:

He loves the hairy legs, and if Sid likes the hairy legs, there you go. I tried shaving one time, and it was so uncomfortable and painful. I said never again would I do that to myself. I’m 42 and I’m very hairy.

He likes the hairy legs!? O_o

Rihanna gets put on blast

The mother of Jasmina Anema, the 6-year-old who lost her battle to Leukemia last month, has a question for Rihanna:

Rihanna campaigned for bone marrow transplants and spent a lot of time with Jasmina, who often said she was one of Rihanna’s biggest fans.

Following Jasmina’s death on January 27, Rihanna released this statement: “I am incredibly heartbroken that Jasmina has passed away. She was such a brave and special child. She showed me more strength and spirit than many adults I have met. I feel blessed that I was able to have her in my life and know that through her example, she has saved many lives. She was truly an angel on earth.”

But apparently, she never reached out directly to Jasmina’s family.

This story confuses me. Surely after becoming so close with Jasmina, Rihanna didn’t just send out a press release after her death and call it a day. There’s got to be some kind of a miscommunication or misunderstanding going on here.

Or was it really all just a publicity stunt?
